Horseback riding Arabian horses (CCA)

Pingo Salvaje owes beautiful Arabian horses’ specimens. Riding the Patagonia with one of these horses can become in a real unforgettable experience. The ride takes wonderful trails, surrounding native woods, the lake, sierra and paleontological caves, besides an amazing vegetation.

The Arabian horse, original from the Arabian Peninsula in the Middle East, owes its reputation to a very strong character and endurance, with a characteristic head and on top tail. This combination requires the horse be treated respectfully and with skillfulness. Therefore, the Arabian horse is one of the most recognized horse breeds in the world.

Trekking Route Cueva Sofía and Mirador Valle Laguna Sofía

Dificultad: Low

An easy route to share in family, including children. After a very smooth climb it can be reached an amazing view of the paleolake Laguna Sofia and Cordon Prat. Laguna Sofía ́s cave number 4 was an Onca Panther liar during the Pleistocene period. With 6 meters depth, this cave also has remains of the enigmatic Mylodon, Saber toothed Cat, Guanacos, and other spices. Inside this cave it was discovered the first human trace on this Region: a bonfire of approximately 10,000 years, with also some human and animal remains that are exhibited at Instituto de la Patagonia in Punta Arenas.

Cascadas Route and Lagunilla Señoret

Dificultad: Medium

A colorful path which leads to a rocky lake, waterfalls, and springs. Trekking starts near a high cliff to end directly under a waterfall. It continues by the Andes condor territory, crossing a spring, and by a wood. It is an awesome and spectacular walk which allows you to see the valley, Lagunilla Señoret (little pond) and Cordon Prat at the top of Sierra Señoret. After a break, the return is through a smooth rocky path by the Sierra, opposite Laguna Sofia.
